Phil Sharrock – Head Teacher
Hi, I’m Phil Sharrock. I’m the Interim Head Teacher here at Watersheddings. I have been a teacher for over 20 years and have worked in lots of schools. I have 3 children who are 13, 11 and 8 and I love Rugby Union, Motorbikes and Sport. Come and say “Hello”!
Louise Hayes – Assistant Head Teacher
Hi I’m Louise Hayes and I am the Assistant Head Teacher and Key Stage 2 leader. I also teach the Year 4 Chestnut Class. I have been a teacher for 12 years and worked at Watersheddings for 4 years. I have three beautiful children, who keep me very busy out of work. In my spare time, I coach Cheerleading at Manchester Diamonds and I compete on their senior squad who attend competitions all over the country.
Nicola Jablonski – Assistant Head Teacher
Hi, I am Nicola Jablonski. I am an Assistant Head Teacher and also teach Year 2 Maple Class. I live with my husband and our two young boys. We love to giggle and go on have adventures! We often go to the beach, ride our bikes and play games. I love spending time with my family and going on holidays in the sunshine. I enjoy dining out. I love watching Strictly Come Dancing and secretly would love to be a celebrity dancer.
Lucy Stuart – Assistant Head Teacher
I am Lucy Stuart, I teach in Reception and I am assistant head for foundation stage. I have two little girls who are 5 and 7. When I am not busy being a Mummy and Teacher I enjoy taking photographs and sometimes take them of families and at weddings. I also like to read (when I get the time) and I am very good at shopping for clothes. I’m not scared of many things but have a big phobia of bananas!
Christine Duffy – Teacher
My name is Christine Duffy. I am the Y6 teacher at Watersheddings. I have four beautiful children (three girls and one boy.) I spend most of my weekends and evenings supporting my children at netball and football. I am their number one fan! I love animals and have two cats called Jaffa and Midnight. We also have a snake called Samantha . She is a big softy and doesn’t bite. She did go missing for 8 months but she decided to come back. I think she missed us.
I have an enormous extended family and love the summer holidays when we all go away to Greece together. I’m looking forward to my next holiday with the family but until that time I am looking forward to having a great year with Year 6.
Caroline Wicks – Teacher
Hello, I’m Caroline Wicks and I have been the Year 3 teacher here at Watersheddings for 2 years. I love to travel and I have visited many places around the world.
Susan O’Brien – Teacher
Hi, I’m Susan O’Brien and I teach in Year 2 Pine Class. I have a little boy who keeps me very busy when I’m not at school. I like to watch Game of Thrones with my husband and go shopping when I can!
Louise Vanes – Teacher
Hi, my name is Louise Vanes. I am a Teacher in Year 2 Pine Class I am married with a lovely little girl. I enjoy going on holiday, particularly to France and my favourite place in the world is New York! I like running although I don’t seem to have much time for that now I’m a mum!

Hi, I am Jenny Shenton. I am the Nursery Ash Class teacher. I have been teaching for 9 years. I have a young son and two kittens called George and Ringo, a hamster called Fluffy and some fish. In my spare time I like spending time with my family, going on long walks and reading.
Candice Moore – Teacher
Hi, my name is Candise Moore and I teach Year 1 Elm Class. Outside of school I am a mummy of three beautiful boys, who I enjoy going on adventures with and making wonderful memories with. I also enjoy reading and I love chocolate.
Dawn Evans – Teacher
My name is Dawn Evans and I teach Reception Cherry Class. I have been teaching for 13 years and before teaching at Watersheddings, I was teaching in Wales. I have a small dog called Milo and my hobby is latin american dancing. I travel around the country with my dance partner competing in lots of competitions.
Sue Pearce – Higher Level Teaching Assistant
Hello. I’m Sue Pearce. I am a HLTA at Watersheddings. I am married to Ste. We have two children, Rachael and Matthew and a 3 year old grand-daughter, Milly. I enjoy reading, shopping and eating (though not all at the same time). My favourite holiday location is Crete, where I went during the summer holidays.
David Harmer – Higher Level Teaching Assistant
Hi, I am David Harmer. I am a HLTA at Watersheddings. This is me on my wedding day with my wife, Janet; my four daughters, Becky, Meg, Mollie and Kate; and my niece Alice. I support Oldham Athletic (one of the few), am a maths and science geek and love Spain (the people, the country, the language and of course, the weather).
Ann Leyland – Teaching Assistant
My name is Ann Leyland and I am the teaching assistant in Year 5 at Watersheddings. In my spare time I enjoy running and swimming and socialising with my friends and family. If I get the time, I also enjoy reading a good book.
Lisa Eaves – Teaching Assistant
Hi, I’m Lisa Eaves and I have been working at Watersheddings for nine years. I have worked in every year group from nursery to Year 6. Previous to being a Teaching Assistant, I worked as a beauty therapist for many years and whilst doing this, I fulfilled a life long ambition of working on a luxury cruise ship based in and around Tahiti.
Lisa Cannon – Teaching Assistant
Hi, I’m Lisa Cannon and I am a Teaching Assistant based in Key Stage 2. Outside of work, in my spare time, I am a Brownies and Guides Leader at Waterhead Trinity Church. I am very family orientated and love spending time with my four siblings, particularly my youngest sister Kaitlin. If I am not with my family, you can usually find me on a long walk with my dog, Lola.
Kerrin Preece – Teaching Assistant
Hi, my name is Kerrin Preece and I work in Key Stage 1. As you can see, I enjoy taking part in challenging races that test you to your limits but also let you have a great time. I have two wonderful boys who are 9 and 5 and I love spending time with them going on adventures and creating wonderful memories together.
