‘Investors in Pupils’ Assessment

FAO: Watersheddings Primary School

Dear Children,

Thank you for inviting me to assess ‘Investors in Pupils’ at your school on July 13th. 2015.   I can now confirm that the assessment report has been quality assured by the West Yorkshire Investors in Pupils Partnership. I am therefore pleased to inform you that Watersheddings Primary School has successfully achieved the ‘Investors in Pupils’ accreditation.

The decision was based on information and evidence from a variety of sources including the schools self-assessment form, planning documentation, secondary sources, pre-assessment telephone interview and a full timetable of interviews involving a range of stakeholders involved in daily school life, including; senior leadership team; governors; parents; teachers; non-teaching staff; pupils from each year group; pupils with positions of responsibility

The school has an abundance of talented, creative and enthusiastic pupils. As part of its continued approach to pupil support and development the school should consider how pupils could take a lead in future development and by addressing the Areas for Development in the report.

I would like to thank all the pupils and staff of Watersheddings Primary School for a very enjoyable visit and for the opportunity and privilege to witness such a positive school community in action.

I wish the school every success in the future.

Yours sincerely,

Carole Holdsworth (Mrs.)
